I like to build cool things that serve humanity. Previously, I co-founded Pare to help SMBs accept payments with 0% transaction fees. Now, I’m learning more about web3 and getting better at designing and building products that solve huge problems.
Solving real problems with blockchain tech
Many web3 products in the market are either solutions looking for problems or vitamins instead of painkillers for customer problems. Asset tokenization is a clear and powerful blockchain application (I’m a big fan of lofty.ai). Cross border payments is another huge application, but on-ramping is a big barrier that needs to be solved for this to take off.
How web3 can achieve mainstream adoption
Most people consider web3 tech a scam due to the ICOs in 2016/17, the FTX bust, and meme coins. But blockchains are more than just the daily price fluctuations of Bitcoin and Ethereum or pump-and-dump schemes. It’s about owning things digitally. It’s about reducing data silos. It’s about creating a decentralized, equitable, and connected world. To get a billion people to enter the web3 world, we need to build products that abstract away all the complexity (e.g. wallets, gas fees, signatures) and let users interact with products without having to know much about the tech that powers it (like how we use Netflix without caring much about how AWS powers it).
How to create products that I feel comfortable with my close friends & family using a lot
The market is cluttered with products that influence users to act against their goals/values. Many CEOs and Founders wouldn’t want their family and friends to use their products as much as they want their users to use them. How do you intentionally design a product that aligns with a user’s goals/values and puts them in control during every interaction?

Crypto democratizes access to finance and money in ways that were never possible before. And that’s what excites me. The future is going to be beautiful.

Other people have used what I’ve built 450+ times or so.
I try to write about whatever comes to mind and what I think can be useful for others.
(some might be cringy since i wrote them almost over 3 years ago lol)
